Power wheelchairs allow clients to live independent lives when they are unable to self-propel a manual wheelchair. Power wheelchairs are available in various drive wheel configurations and can be driven with a variety of drive controls. Power wheelchairs can accept power seating, which can help clients stay in their chair longer throughout the day.

Manual wheelchairs allow clients who have upper extremity function to live independent lives when they are unable to use any walking aide. Manual wheelchairs can also allow for caregivers to care for their loved ones when their loved ones are dependent upon someone else for assistance. Manual wheelchairs are available in various configurations for both self-propulsion and dependent care. Power options can be added to manual wheelchairs as well.

Speech Generating Devices allow clients who are unable to communicate effectively verbally, the ability to communicate. Speech devices come in various sizes and abilities. Speech devices can be accessed via touch or other alternative controls, such as switches or eye gaze.

Adaptive equipment is a broad term and there are multiple equipment options we provide at Procore Med, such as: standing frames, gait trainers, lifts, activity chairs, bathing seats, toileting seats, safety beds, etc.
